The Paris-Orlyx Banquet
Almost every Asterix comic ends with a banquet: a grand celebration where villagers gather to share a hearty, bountiful meal. To celebrate the release of the new Asterix album set in Lusitania, Paris Aéroport brought this iconic tradition to life with an unexpected event: the Paris-Orlyx Banquet.
In Hall 4 of the airport, 250 guests - including local residents, institutions, associations, and neighbors - gathered around a generously filled table for a festive meal inspired by Gaulish and Portuguese traditions. Surrounded by barrels, menhirs, and steaming cauldrons, they were invited to reveal their inner Gaul in a fully immersive atmosphere, stepping straight into the magical, humorous world of Asterix.

Throughout the evening, guests tested themselves against Panoramix’s taste skills, Asterix’s quick wit, Falbala’s elegance, Obelix’s strength and the singing talents of Assurancetourix, portrayed by Philippe Katerine. Which Gaul do you resemble most?
The X-tra touch
And to top it all off and showcase the operation, the airport’s façade was enhanced with a monumental “X” to mark this very special event. A unique day that fittingly celebrated the 80th anniversary of Groupe ADP.
